After 4 months, a full engine rebuild and more stories than you can shake a stick at (coming soon) Cairo finally sets sail again. Engine is now purring like a cat and all is good, well for now at least !!
The engine is so quiet all you can hear is that bloody dog barking at me
Hot of the press a recent update about my engine problems
Have a read (see some pics) about my issues with the ‘always reliable’ BMC 1.5 Engine
The Narrow boat “Cairo” was purchased at Braunston on 21st September 2010 after final checks and test runs. All seemed well.
I hope you enjoy the site I have just set up and make sure you have a look at the Captain’s Log menu, where you can find much more details of my adventures on the High Seas
